Welcome! We are so pleased to be able to provide meals while your child is away from home and at school.
For the 2023-24 School Year, a school breakfast will be free of charge for all families/students. All students having access to a free breakfast during the morning hours is a critical routine to maintain educational focus and an effort we find of value to use food service funds to support. We do this as food service can afford to absorb this cost this year, each year we will reevaluate if we are able.
A school lunch will cost a family either $3.00 (elem-middle school grade students), $3.15 (high school students), $0.40 (any grade reduced meal pricing) or $0.00 (any grade free meal pricing). This is the cost for the first lunch, additional meals, snacks or drinks have additional costs, and during online registration, parents must grant annual permission for this allowance.
Consider spending one minute of your time by viewing the video below and learning why we care so much about how and why we serve the highest quality food to our students.
Each day we offer a breakfast and a lunch at all schools as well as afterschool snack at Sunrise and Middle Schools. Families know ahead of time what food items will be offered based on a planned menu, which is found within the Lunch Menu tab on this site. We offer salads as an optional choice instead of a main menu option everyday across the district. High school students have several meal options at both meal services and most everyday middle school students have at least one additional lunch option beyond salads for lunch.
School meals are healthful, convenient and when children eat lunch at school their meals can often have more balance than a lunch brought from home. Each day the following must be offered for each elementary student breakfast: 1 cup fruit or veggie, 1 grain, 1 additional grain or protein, 1 cup equivalent of dairy. Each day the following minimums must be offered in an elementary school lunch: 1/2 cup fruit, 3/4 cup veggie, 1 cup equivalent of dairy food, 1 oz protein.
