The State of Wisconsin Open Enrollment Program allows parents to apply for their children to attend a public school in another school district other than the one in which they reside at no cost to them other than providing their own transportation for their students to and from school. All open enrollment begins with an application submitted to the WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
The 2025-26 open enrollment application period begins Monday, February 3, 2025. The application period will close at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2025.
Alternative Open Enrollment Application Form for 2024-25 school year is now available. You must download or save the form before completing it electronically. Once the form is completed, it must be submitted to the Sturgeon Bay School District.
