This school year we produced 167# of cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, herbs and leaves of kale and spinach. Classes began using the greenhouse in mid September. In early April conversion from teaching in the greenhouse to heavy production began. Focus was placed on cucumber maintenance, cherry tomato pruning and seeding of kale. Food Service was able to send spinach plants, kale leaves and cucumber slices home to families during school shut down in our districts home delivered meals.
