Crisis Planning and Interventions
When students or staff suffers a sudden loss through a death or other significant crisis, the Crisis Response Team plays a significant role in assisting them to cope with that loss. A team of specialists meet as soon after being notified of the crisis. An overall plan is suggested to help create and structure an environment that will allow expression of grief and provide assistance in coping with a loss or crisis.

The Crisis Response Team is a group of community and school professionals trained to respond in situations of critical illness, pending death, and death.  The team is educated, sensitive and prepared to respond.  Support is offered for individual students, student groups, staff and parents.
